Well, I wouldn't know why my son would allow such a thing. It's utterly preposterous and unbecoming of someone who is tasked to serve the country. As of now, I do not know his rationale as well as his intentions for removing Philippine History from the curriculum but for now, I believe this is just madness. I didn't think I could be rendered even more motionless by anything until I heard of this.
As the famous novelist Aldous Huxley had said "That men do not learn very much from the lessons of history is the most important of all the lessons of history." History in itself is a lesson in which we human beings have to learn from, especially the Filipinos.
If history is not available to the young ones, who knows if the unavailability of sufficient information is causing the shaping of the next Marcos or maybe even preventing the next Jose Rizal of Andres Bonifacio. Who knows if the lack of sight in the background will lead to the destruction of education in itself? I am highly disappointed of my son and I'm afraid to say it is not only in this aspect.

This must be stopped. He cannot aid such a thing. If I could leave this current state of mine just to push him away from this damn cause, I will.
